The MacBook Air was launched in January 2008 and is an engineering masterpiece. At its thickest point, it is just 0.76 inches thick. MacBook

The MacBook replaced the Apple iBook in May 2006 when Apple switched to using intel chips in their notebook computers. The MacBook is is Apple’s standard and most versatile notebook computer. It is perfect for everyday work, watching movies, browing the next, looking at photos and downloading music. However, it also packs a great deal of punch and is also very adept at performing some of the more complex and power hungry tasks like video editing and digital work. MacBook Pro

MacBook Pro is Apple’s high end laptop. The MacBook Pro replaced the PowerBook line of notebooks and was released in January 2006. In late 2008 / early 2009 the new unibody aluminium versions were released with some spectacular features and components. The MacBook Pro is specifically aimed at professionals and the performance is likely to be far more than an average user would require. However, this does mean they last a long time and some of the features, such as the backlit keyboard, make them a very special laptop indeed.
